Create an Outdoor Oasis to Enjoy in the Warmer Months
There are many things to love about springtime. One of our favorites is being able to spend more time outdoors. We love prepping our own yards for summer gatherings with friends and loved ones, and we have a few tricks to help you get the most out of your outdoor space this season
Invest in Pest Control Services
Hire a company to spray for bugs in your front and backyard and buy some citronella candles so you’re not slapping mosquitoes all night. Another way to lower the number of mosquitoes in your yard is making sure you don’t have any standing water anywhere. Standing water is like a huge blinking light drawing mosquitoes to the area.
Think About What You & Your Guests Enjoy Doing
If you like to relax and talk, create an area with your chairs in a circle to create a social space. You can always take it a step further and place a fire pit in the center so you can toast marshmallows while sharing stories. If you and your friends are more active, it may be worth investing in a Corn Hole or Croquet set that you can easily set up when company comes over.
Enhance Your Space With Great Lighting!
Buy some fun tiki torches, calming twinkle lights, or enough outdoor candles to make sure you can enjoy the outdoors long after the sun sets. Lighting makes a huge difference in an outdoor oasis and is one of the most important aspects, in our opinion, when creating your beautiful oasis for the summer.
